[#6336] Not displaying new downloads

Detailed Description:
This seems to be only a problem on windows servers, we moved the site off our
test servers onto a windows server as they client wanted it on their servers,
everything was working fine until we tried to add a new item to the download
manager.

I have backed up their server from the windows server put in on a linux server
and everything worked perfect. So I thought it was something to do with their
setup. So I installed the same site on a development windows server of ours and
still the same.

On the linux servers you add file, text, visible, category all works, shows up
on the front and back end of site.

On the windows servers you add file, text, visible, category, it adds the file
to downloads folder, stores the data in database expect the category
information, and it will not display on front end of site but you can see it in
admin area

Has anyone else had this problem?

Absolutely yes!
As I was looking for a downloadmanager with categories and a "little privacy"
for the files, I installed the module on my local webserver Apache and PHP
5.3.5.
The categories are not saved! And then no files are shown on the frontend.
