Detailed Description:
Using parenthesis ( ) in directory names makes the Slimbox (have only tried
slimbox) not to show the fullsize picture. Thumbnails works.

Thanks for reporting, I see it happening too. It doesn't occur with all
templates. I will fix this.

In the meanwhile you maybe could solve this yourself by editing the slimbox
template a little:

Use {$image->file|escape:'url'} in stead of {$image->file}

I didn't test this myself though

It didn't work, it went into an endless "loading" loop
