Summary:
Sorting not working in Gallery 2.1 on CMSMS 2.1.2
Detailed Description:
Hello, I am using Gallery 2.1 on CMSMS 2.1.2 and I am unable to sort the images
manually (by dragging) and have also noticed the sorting default dropdown (under
template editor) does not seem to do anything either.

I am using the AE-Gallery template but have tried others and they all have the
same issue.

I have tried clearing cache etc.

Any ideas?

Edit : I have noticed that they are sorted by filename e.g. 001.jpg then 002.jpg
then aaa.jpg etc... - if i change the filename the order changes

Hey guys,

If I understand correctly you have the same problem that I had.

In the frontend the images were always displayed in the same order which was
different to the order I had setup by dragging and dropping in the backend.

To make it work in the template I use (prettyphoto) I had to remove the 2nd sort
dropdown row in the 'Sorting Options' using the 'Delete last row' link and then
set the dropdown row left to '-' ascending.

Then the images display in the order I have put them in.

Hope it helps.

(Using CMSMS 2.1.1 and Gallery 2.1)

Hello,

Thank you for your comments Aris Lidopoulos,

Using you instructions I managed to get this working as well. This is what I
did,

1. Go to content > gallery
2. click on 'templates' tab
3. click on 'AE-Gallery'
4. select '-' from the 'sorting options' dropdown and 'ascending' on right.
5. click 'save'

I did not need to delete any of the soring rows at all.

I hope this helps someone else if they have the same issue.

Thanks again,
