This file manager is the continuation of the one written a few years back for e107 CMS. It is incredibly fast, and I/O is limited to the final download/upload operation. Bulk import function allows you to get your existing files (on the server) and import them into the vFM. Targeted uses are for CMS where large number of files (over 2,000 per folder) are used, which does slow down servers significantly otherwise.
