Detailed Description:
I think it would be nice if the link <div id="NewsPostDetailPrintLink"> 
{$entry->printlink} </div>

also opened a box allowing to choose printer - like the print-icon on (my)
standard-pages does.

you can do whatever you want in the templates.
Print function will be improved for CMS 1.6
it's not a News specific issue.
