Scale and crop thumbnails instead of shrinking or stretching them
Detailed Description:
Generated thumbnail images are currently shrinked into the aspect ratio
specified in the global settings if the original image is of a different aspect
ratio. Please make it so that images are rather scaled and then cropped, if
necessary, to fit the specified aspect ratio without getting distorted. Or, if
you’re really inclined, implement an option to either apply “cover” or “contain”
fill mode.
