SEOtools2 does not work / adding tag generates faillure

Detailed Description:

Hi,

After correctly installing Seotools2 I tried to open it. Unfortyunately when
choosing the module in the "content" menu, it shows a blank screen.
I did try to add the {SEOTools2} tag in my template, instead of the
<title>{code}</title>. But as soon as doing so, it generates a failure on the
webppage, like this:

Clearing my cache didn't work, so I presume it is something with the module. Can
you help me?

Upgrade to 1.1.1 and let me know if the problem persists. Alternatively, try
upgrading to v1.2 which is in SVN.

Hi Psy,

Thank you for your quick response.
I updated the module to 1.1.2 with SVN (I allready had 1.1.1). Unfortunately the
problem still remains. Do you have any other lead on how I may fix this problem?

This type of error typically indicates a problem with Smarty tags in either the
template or page - and can take a fair bit of patient troubleshooting to
identify.  First off, try switching to a default template, eg OneEleven and put
the (SEOTools2} tag in the <head>.

If this works, then it points to a problem with your template that the module
cannot parse.

Let me know what happens.

I tried it in "Minimal template" but stil it seems to generate the same
faillure.
