Assigned To:
Version: 1.6.1
CMSMS Version: None
Severity: Major
Resolution: Fixed
State: Closed
Summary:
Registration does not complete
Detailed Description:
After filling in the confirmation form (using the link from the confirmation
email) and clicking the submit button nothing happens (no feedback to the user).
Also no visual feedback is provided if the password is wrong or the email
address does not exist.

If all fields in the confirmation form are filled in correctly, then after
submitting the form the new user is pushed to FEU, but it also remains in the
selfreg module as an incomplete registration (and as I said above there is no
confirmation to the user, i.e., the confirmation form remains on the screen)

There are many configuration options to FEU/Selfreg
without relevant information reports like this are useless.

Here are screenshots of the settings for each module. Please let me know if you
need more and if I can do more to help.

I've had a look at the code. I think the lack of feedback to the user is because
something is wrong with DoAction when action = 'default'.

Furthermore I think that in "action.verifyuser.php" on line 138:
if( $result != 0 )

should be:

if( $result[0] != TRUE )

do you concur?

Cheers Vasco,

that code helped muchos!

A thread was started here about that very problem:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,46467.msg223955.html#msg223955

Your code change sorted all the problems for a couple of us. Thanks!
