Cannot add Hierarchy Items
Detailed Description:
Adding a hierarchy item through the Products module displays an error after the
submit button is clicked. Hierarchy Items can manually be added to the database.

It can be related to mixture of backslashes and forward slashes in directory
path while running Products module on Win OS.
