Sometimes the "alias" field isn't very relevant, or might be very long. For
example of this module is used for Frequently Asked Questions, the title of the
item is going to be quite long, and therefore so will the alias. It's not
something a client should have to worry about when editing, so this means the
admin listing has a lot of wasted space. It would be great to be able to hide
this column from displaying in the list.

It would also be good if the field could be hidden when creating items, because
again often the client won't care what this is. The value could be automatically
generated just as it is now, and if there's a duplicate item then a random
number or string is added to the end to make it unique.
