There is a very nice example of a Facebook-like crop and resize function

I'd love to have this integrated in plFileHandler. It is very useful for regular
users to simply upload an image and select the area they actually want to save -
important for profile pictures. People always upload some kind of party pics or
I'm-standing-at-the-beach pics which would be a lot nicer cropped.
