If you don't have the "Non-memory Excel exports" preference set, and try to
export a large Excel file, it generates a 500 error. It would be nice if this
were more graceful, either giving a warning that there's not enough memory to
perform the operation, or switching automatically to file-based (with a notice
that it needs to be cleaned, or uses /tmp).
