[#3642] CGSimpleSmarty broke in CMSMS 1.6

Summary:
CGSimpleSmarty broke in CMSMS 1.6
Detailed Description:
After upgrading to CMSMS 1.6 all content areas using CGSimpleSmarty
functionality broke. Calling the Extra Attribute is the main function I use.
After reverting back to CMSMS 1.5.4 the module worked great again.
