Assigned To:
Version: 2.6
CMSMS Version: 2.2.9
Severity: Major
Resolution: Works For Me
State: Open
Summary:
Events not shown in backend
Detailed Description:
Since the update to CMSMS 2.2.9 the events in CGCalendar are not shown. Tested
with admin-account, so all events should be visible.
Issue occurs on 2.2.9 with current versions of CGCalendar, CGExtensions &
CGSimpleSmarty AND with the previous versions.

Issue was first identified in environment with latest versions of modules after
upgrade to CMSMS 2.2.9.

Tested on 2.2.9 with previous version of all 3 modules: no events shown
Tested on 2.2.8 with previous version of all 3 modules: works without issues
Tested on 2.2.8 by upgrading all 3 modules to current version: works without
issues

Hence, my conclusion is that the combination of these modules with CMSMS 2.2.9
is not working.

Versions used:
Current versions:
CGExtensions: 1.61.4
CGSimpleSmarty: 2.2.1
CGCalendar: 2.6

Previous version:
CGExtensions: 1.61.3
CGSimpleSmarty: 2.2
CGCalendar: 2.5.1

Apparently, the issue is in the core of 2.2.9, fix in SVN.

Also ran into this problem while setting up a new Version of one of my cmsms
sites. The site was initially installed from Core Version 2.2.2 and was updateed
to the current versions of core and all modules. This appears to be a
JQuery-related error.

Further digging revealed that the {cgjs_require} tags in admin_events_tab.tpl
were not being processed.
Workaround: Fixed by downgrading to CGExtensions 1.62.3.
