Version: 1.0.2
CMSMS Version: 1.11.10
Severity: Critical
Resolution: Fixed
State: Open
Summary:
Xlink fielddef keeps on "loading"
Detailed Description:
After installing xlink, and updating fielddefs, I am able to see the LI2 Xlink
Fielddef option in all of my 3 created instances of LI2.
However when I choose the fielddefinition, the loader on the bottom of the pages
keeps loading.
With firebug I notice that the background Ajax request returns an 'Oops,
something went wrong' page of CMSMS...

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

BTW, installed a clean 1.11.10 CMSMS, + Listit2 + XLink with the same result. I
can give access to this system if needed. Contact me via oscarcookie at gmail

OK. When you enter the name of the custom listit2 instance in the Field
Definition input box, make sure you enter the full name, eg
'ListIt2MyCustomModule'.

It seems as if XLink cannot find the name of your (remote) module.

The problem is that there is no field appearing where I can enter the name of
the custom listit2 instance...

Yes v. weird.

Have you tried saving the fielddef using the default value (title), then going
back and editing to specify the customfield? Do your instances have values?
(Shouldn't matter but worth crossing off the list).

I have used XLink since this bug was reported and it has always worked fine.

Can you email me logins to your site?

XLink requires CGExtensions. I meant to include it as a dependency but didn't.
:(
Will make sure it's included in the next release.
