on line 417

I erased the module direcotry to recover and tried installing all the way back
to 0.0.2 just to see if I could get it to work.

I went through the module file and could not find any mismatched brackets,
missing ; or obvious issues.

What version of PHP do you have ?

Maybe you don't have php5 ?
