Summary:
Cataloger and Additional Editors
Detailed Description:
I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I tried posting to the forum first and
haven't heard anything and I can't find a similar issue. It appears I can not
set additional editors on pages driven by the Cataloger module. See message
below:

I am using Cataloger to drive the content on a number of pages. I am trying to
associate a single user of a group (that doesn't normally have page editing
permissions) as an additional user to a specific page.

On any of the regular content pages, I can set this user as an additional editor
no problem and that's the only page that user sees. If I try to do the same
thing on one of the Cataloger driven pages, it does not work. The page does not
show up for the user. It seems Additional Editors is not working for Cataloger
pages.

I'm using CMSMS 1.6.5 and Cataloger 0.7.6.

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has looked into this? Please advise.

Thank you

Hello,

I think this bugs severity should be major. I'm having the same problem with
CMSMS 1.6.7 and Cataloger 0.7.7 fresh installation and installed via Module
Manager. The only permission possible for Cataloger is "Modify Catalog
Settings".

Hoping to see the fix really soon.

Best regards,
Kaupo

This problem/bug is still not fixed :(
Makes Cataloger - a in all others aspects great module - rather useless for me,
since the client was supposed to administrate the catalog posts logged in as an
Editor...

It doesn't matter if I tick ALL the available group permissions for an Editor,
logged in as an Editor I still can't modify any User-Defined Attributes nor make
new pages visible in front end... Compared to the News or CGBlog modules
something like "Approve News For Frontend Display" or "Approve CGBlog For
Frontend Display" seems to be missing....

I have now been in contact with project admin JoMorg who now might fix this,
after me adding the above details to this bug report :)

Well... it has been a loooong ride since last release. Life got in the way.
Although I didn't have the chance to test it thoroughly, this should be fixed in
version 1.0 of Cataloger (already released).
Thanks
