Severity: Major
Resolution: Works For Me
State: Open
Summary:
No End Date on Events by Default and Event doesn't display in Calendar View
Detailed Description:
Click Add Event
By default there is a Start Date and no End Date
However when you save the event it doesn't display in the calendar view. It
does display in list view on the front end but since there is no list view in
the back end there is no way to edit the event.

I just created an event with no end date for a different month.
in the calendar view once I scrolled to that month the event was visible, and
editable.

I then did the same with an event that had a different end date (one hour after
the start date).
Same thing there.. it worked fine.

Also, the CGCalendar admin calendar view has a 'year view' which is in list
mode.

I don't understand your comments about a different month and different end date.
The bug is specific to NOT entering any end date.

Click Add Event
Enter a Title, leave everything else as the default
Today, 8am, All Day unchecked, specify end date unchecked, status published,
recurs no
No event displays in calendar view back end or front end
I don't see the event in year view either but I do see it in the database and
front end list view
event_end_date is null in the db

Not sure if this is related but here is the error I see in logs
Undefined index: subtitle in
/home/sites/sportthoma/public_html/tmp/templates_c/bd3b8a60fb564f79997b25ccc65cb4f0b402ef92.file.pagetemplate.tpl.php

I just tested using exactly the steps provided and had no difficulties.
Perhaps the color of the text that is being displayed is just the same color as
your background color in your month view etc.

I also just tried adding a one day all day event and it didn't show up. Then I
entered a two day event and it only shows on the first day. Must be an issue
with end date but not sure if it's in the template or the logic... Are you
testing on the same version of CMS and Calendar? I tried downloading the newest
Calendar but got an error that it's not compatible for the version of CMS I'm
using.
