MAS_Bulletin and Live is a CMS Made Simple module for news and magazine homepages that need prominent Breaking and Live headline bars without editing templates for every update.

 Editors manage two ticker lines from the admin panel: a red Breaking bar and a blue Live bar. Each line supports manual text (bullet-separated items), optional integration with the core News module (drag-and-drop article order), and merge modes (manual only, news only, news first, or manual first). 

You can show or hide each bar, enable marquee animation when text is long, and control marquee speed and home news slider pause in milliseconds. The frontend plugin tag {MAS_Bulletin} outputs both bars and sets window.__NT_BX_SLIDER_PAUSE_MS__ for the homepage bxSlider. 

 Optional links connect ticker text to News article URLs and to external https URLs in manual lines. 

The module includes tabbed Help and About documentation (MAS_Common), configurable admin menu placement, Norwegian admin strings (nb_NO), and an optional Donations tab. 

 The news module is optional but recommended for article-driven tickers. Grant the permission "Manage MAS_Bulletin" to the appropriate admin group after installation.
