Date: 2009-01-24 16:41 Posted By: Connie Müller-Gödecke (connie) This is absolutely not easy to use or administer, as there is no chance to design any output... all templates just use smarty tags which are created by the module and the user / administrator has no chance to define the layout
An easy to use, administer, and support newsletter system for CMS Made Simple.

Date: 2009-01-26 03:07 Posted By: Rob Brough (robsta) Connie, sadly this isn't true. I've got nms up and running with no problems and have VERY complicated html templates... I'm more than happy to walk you through setting them up. As long as you post an apology here once we've got your system running. Robsta

Date: 2009-03-18 21:28 Posted By: Brett Hemphill (aucomp) I have no idea what Connie is on about. This is the easiest e-newsletter system I have ever used. You create a HTML template, create a message and send it. Not sure how it could be easier?
Date: 2009-03-25 15:52 Posted By: Peter Lorimer (peter@bordernet.co.uk) Yeah I been getting problems. Looks nice but on hitting the jobs tab I get an Error no list! msg but I know there is a lsit. I'm pretty siure it is down to mysql being a pile of junk and probably converts table names to uppercase. Problem is I use Postgres for speed and power. This mod falls over on 3 different versions on Postgres on 3 different servers. This mod looked like it had some potential as well but lack of database abstraction would suggest it is not for me. WHAT A SHAME
Date: 2009-04-17 06:56 Posted By: JP. J (jayPjay) Hi there! - I´m also extremly satidfied. THX! Today I had a strange problem, Firefox would´nt process the batches and started using 99% CPU-Usage. Then i tryed with IE and that worked without probs. Any Idea whats wrong? Greets
Date: 2009-05-07 08:25 Posted By: Peter Davidse (ptrdvds) I have the same problem as Peter Lorimer with the "Error no list!" in the job dialog. It seems that this is no MySQL exclusive error because i use PostgreSQL. Any suggestions welcome.

Date: 2009-06-03 09:59 Posted By: Paul Vasilescu (crotonic) Hello! I have a problem with this module. I installed CMSMS 1.5.4, than this module. I configured CMSMailer, and sent a test message, and it worked. But I don't know why this module can not send newsletters. I enter the message to send, click submit and.. nothing.. Please help me to configure this module. Where or what I did wrong? Thanks!
Date: 2009-09-09 01:30 Posted By: Walter Veintimilla (wveinti) Hello, I installed this module no problems really good, just a question I found how to modify the template for the Subscribe Form no problem but I haven't been able to find where can I modify the CSS of the objects(like the textbox for the email or user name) I wanna make smaller I mean modify the size.. if somebody can tell me how to do that .. thanks in advance wv
Date: 2009-10-23 16:50 Posted By: Fat Lizard (fatlizard) Works for me. The only issue I have is that no-one appears to be attending to feature requests, as the list is now ~4 years old on open requests.
Date: 2009-12-04 05:36 Posted By: Alek W (alekwisnia) Now I understand what Connie meant. Yes, it's easy to deal with message template. No, it's not easy to configure subscribe form template. Changing HTML is not a problem, problem is with inputs. You can only put i.e. {$email} or {$username} or {$submitbtn} and afaik there's no way to change text input size or submit button text. :(
