Well, it's aparrently I've been bad, and haven't released the Uploads module for a long long time.  Well, this changes that.  I had to do it because something that creaped into the core, we don't know when caused all kinds of grief with downloading files, 

Essentially, downloading didn't work if you were using a newer version of CMS.

There's lots of new features in the new uploads module, and probably 8 or 9 (hundred he whispers) bugs. 

Some of the new things you should notice, are hopefully performance increases, filtering, replacing of uploaded files, redirection, and of course the normal bug fixes.

In the next version (that will be slated for the cms 1.0 release, will be events, and the ability to embed the uploads module into other modules.... keep looking for it (or pestering me for it, some of you are good at that :) ).
