Detailed Description:
currently it looks  like this 

    <October 2012>

|28|29|30|31|            |

  <November 2012> 
|                  |1 |2 |3 |
|4 |5 |6  |7  |8  |9 |10 |
...

It would be nice to look like this

    <October 2012>
. . .

|28|29|30|31| 1 | 2 | 3|

  <November 2012> 
|28|29|30 |31 |1 |2 |3 |
|4 |5 |6  |7  |8  |9 |10 |
...

With the extra days greyed out but still displaying the content

The fullcalendar plugin has options for this.
