i'm running a website with a few news categories that go to different news
pages. each news page has it's own header (news, press, events and events|house
parties).

the problem is there's also a ticker on the home page which shows the latest
four articles from any category, and when a headline is clicked it goes to the
default detail-template, which has the "news" header.

i'd like to see the ability to assign a different default detail-template for
each category, so that when a news article is clicked on it will show up on the
news page, but if it's an events, it will show up on the events page.
