I have updated to the most recent version CGBlog: 1.8.3 and find that in the
updated version the module accepts the same URL on multiple articles. I have the
same problem in another website that is similarly configured. This problem was
present in 1.8.2, but not earlier versions (I do not have the exact version
number, sorry)

If the title is the same - e.g. a cartoon series - this results in a row of
identical urls, all pointing to the most recent article.

It used to work like this:
