I am having difficulty troubleshooting your problem however the line of code
which is failing refers to the db retrieval of the meta description content
block. It seems something is breaking the MYSQL select statement.

I am assuming you have the content block correctly configured in your page
template and the name entered in SEOTools2.

Do any of your meta descriptions contain single or double quotes?  If so, please
remove them and let me know whether this (temporarily) fixes the problem.

Any other information you can provide would be helpful.
