Item Search in Admin area doesn't search entire database.
Detailed Description:
The Item Search in Admin area doesn't search the entire database.  It only
searches the currently open page of items.  This means it is necessary to click
through all pages until you find the page with the correct item.

It's as design, not a bug 'per se'. However you can file a feature request to
include a full search feature... :)
I may consider the FR and include it in the future somehow...
